Business Manager Europe (m/f/d)

Chemical Industry (Resins)

Dr. Heimeier & Partner is a leading personnel consultancy company in Germany. Our client is a worldwide operating, engineering company providing sustainable solutions in energy and environment with headquarters in India. Its business portfolio includes products for heating, cooling, water, waste management, and specialty chemicals. The Chemical business manufactures and markets a wide range of specialty chemicals to help improve processes across a spectrum of industries through customised and cost-effective solutions. In order to further develop the Business in Western Europe, especially for Standard and Specialty Resins, we are looking for an experienced Business Manager Europe (m/f/d), based in Europe, preferably in Germany.


Main tasks and major responsibilities:

  • Be in charge of Business Development and Sales in Western Europe for Standard and                             Specialty Resins
  • Meet with target customers; understand applications to generate inquiries for specialty and standard resins (water and non-water applications)
  • Meet and network with prospective customers, key decision makers, influencers, and     Process Licensors to effectively position the resins
  • Establish and maintain the distribution agencies that are required in the designated geography
  • Collaborate with the Product Management Group on new product requirements, including sharing and receiving application knowledge and reconfirming performance guarantees
  • Collaborate with R&D on new developments


In this function the Business Manager Europe (m/f/d) reports to the Global Business Manager Resins.


Professional qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Chemical Engineering) or BS / MS Chemistry or equivalent
  • Experienced in the handing of Ion exchange resins for water and non-water applications
  • Long-term experience in Ion Exchange Resin sales / Chemicals
  • Relevant experience in direct and distributor sales segment
  • Business fluent English

  • Self-motivated and a go-getter
  • Passion to network, build relationships with customers, and improve sales
  • Flair to develop in-depth understanding & knowledge of multiple products /applications 
  • Contracting and negotiation skills, strong commercial acumen
  • The candidate must travel extensively throughout Europe, but has no residence obligation
